Va. State downs Saint Paul's 66-51

Virginia State University's Rhon'Neisha Taylor scored 14 points while Morgan McGill recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Lady Trojans to a 66-51 win over Saint Paul's College on February 7 in Daniel Gym in Ettrick, Va.

Taylor also had five steals and Tierney Rock scored 12 points in the win.

The win capped a week where VSU went 3-0 with victories over Bowie State University, Elizabeth City State University in addition to Saint Paul's.

Saint Paul's was led by Tatiana Ellis' 14 points.

The win raised VSU's record to 16-4 while Saint Paul's fell to 6-14.
